If you don’t know that I love New Orleans, then you don’t know me very well. In 2010, I visited Louisiana to see the BP Oil Spill first hand in all it’s ugliness. To my surprise the city of New Orleans captured my heart and inspired me in new and profound ways. Since then I have visited the Crescent City no less than four times and find something more to love every time I go back.
NOLA Bound is an incredible project sponsored by several local agencies designed to raise awareness of the city’s budding startup culture. 25 well-connected individuals from across the country within four targeted business sectors—arts-based businesses, biosciences, digital media, and sustainable industries—will be selected to travel to New Orleans and assess the city as a model of new business progress and thinking.
